MOSAIC DREAM IPA+ 5.5/11.5

Brewed and dry hopped with the hard-to-find Mosaic hops. This session IPA is smooth for its style and easy to drink. A Black Stag favorite.

Style: English IPA, 5.5% ABV, 50 IBU

IVANPAH IPL 5.5/11.5

Similar to an IPA but fermented longer at cooler temperatures with lager yeast. Hops up front, finishing with a crispness associated with lagers. Named after a favorite fishing creek near El Dorado, KS in the Flint Hills.

Style: India Pale Lager, 5.1% ABV, 49 IBU
FULL MEASURE ESBc5.5/11.5

This true to style Extra Special Bitter is a traditional English Ale. Standard in all English pubs. Malt forward with enough hop character to add balance.

BAMBURGH CASTLE BROWN ALE 6/12.5

This Northern English brown ale was first brewed by monks near what was Castle Bebbanburg. Later the name of the castle changed. We’ve added pecans to give this beer is nutty finish. A favorite at brew fests.

Style: Northern English Brown Ale, 5.4% ABV, 29 IBU
PRAIRIE FOG HAZY IPA 5.5/11.5

Features Simcoe and cascade hops to produce a smooth drinking beer w/ intense fruit flavors and an earthy backbone. A silky mouth feel w/ hop aroma up front is a signature of the style.

Style: Hazy India Pale Ale, 5.6% ABV, 25 IBU
McCOOL’S IRISH RED ALE 5.5/11.5

McCool’s features an approachable lower hop bitterness which rests easy on the palate. This amber colored beer has a medium caramel malt sweetness. Name for the mythical giant who saved Ireland from the Scottish, Finn McCool.

Style: Irish Red Ale, 5.2% ABV, 23 IBU
1865 BLACK LAGER+ 5.5/11.5

A lager brewed like an ale, the style dates to the Middle Ages in Bohemia, an area of southern Germany and northern Czech Rep. Smooth and easy to drink.

Style: Czech Black Lager, 6.2% ABV, 21 IBU
MAD KING OKTOBERFEST 5.5/11.5

Since our opening, Mad King has consistently been one of our highest rated beers at festivals. Enjoy this amber colored malty beer of the fall season.

NITRO OATMEAL STOUT 5.5/11.5

A traditional stout made with oatmeal and served over nitrogen to achieve the cascading head and smooth mouthfeel.

A porter with a kick made with Ghana chocolate, Madagascar peppers, and English cherry wood smoked barley. A house favorite featured in the national publication The Athletic Magazine.

ST MARTIN’S PILSNER 5/10.5

A Czech beer brewed with noble hops reminiscent of the original Pilz Urquell. The style’s debut was at St. Martin’s Market in 1842.

MT. BLUE BELGIAN WIT 5.5/11

Brewed w/Belgian wheat and rock candy, coriander and orange. This Wit beer is named after the large mound south of town.

Style: Belgian Wit, 5.8% ABV, 15 IBU
KELLERBIER ‘CELLAR’ BEER 5.5/11

A beer dating to the Middle Ages in southern German/Bohemia. This beer used to be brewed at a very low ABV and was served at cellar temperature. The “Safer than the Water” beverage of the day. Children would also drink this ale. We serve our version cold, FYI.

Style: Zwickelbier, 4.8% ABV, 22 IBU
LEMON-LIME GOSE 6.5/13.5

Pronounced ‘gose-uh’. Brewed with wheat malt, gose is a sour, but not all sours are goses, the difference being the salt added to the fermentation process. This salt addition replicates the flavor from the brewing process which included addition of granite stones to the brew kettle. The style originated in Goslar, Germany.

Style: German Gose, 4.2% ABV, 15 IBU
FATHER’S TAVERN ALE+ 5/10.5

A tavern ale from 1770s Colonial America. Smooth and light. The Founding Fathers would have had this on tap.

Style: Cream Ale, 4.9% ABV, 10 IBU
LEMON RADLER+ 5/10.5

Radler means ‘bicycle’ in German. This is a shandy style beer with lemon. Very light and tart.

Style: Radler, 4.8% ABV, 8 IBU
